Sunny summer wedding at Harrington Farm
J+C got married at the peak of summer, on a warm (but not too warm), gorgeous day at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts. One thing I love about summer weddings is that the flowers are at peak – and J + C took total advantage of that! They chose juicy peachy-pink tones, which complemented the gorgeous setting perfectly! All photos by Katie Karlberg Photo. (except as noted) Location: Harrington Farm Flowers by me! J’s bouquet was a mix of locally grown blooms like lisanthus, zinnias, dahlias, and veronica and a few peachy garden roses as well. Her maids’ bouquets were similar, but smaller (naturally!) C’s groomsmen’s boutonnieres were each different,…

Perfectly peach fall wedding flowers at Valley View Farm, Haydenville
September is a perfect time for wedding flowers if you’re working with a farmer-florist, like me. Pretty much ALL the most special flowers are in bloom: the dahlias, the lisianthus, the fancy zinnias, romantic hydrangea, the scabiosas…that’s what M and J wanted for their perfectly peach fall wedding at Valley View Farm in Haydenville, MA, last September, and that’s what they got. All photos: Paul Robert Berman Photography. Location: Valley View Farm. Florals: Me! The pavilion at Valley View always affords a spectacular backdrop. We accented the ceremony space with large, lush arrangements of seasonal flowers atop whisky barrels, and lined the aisles with peach, white, and orange arrangements placed…

In springtime, love is in the air at Valley View Farm!
If you think pastels are the only choice for a spring wedding, Liz and Corey (and I) have a bone to pick with you! Spring weddings can be ALL the colors! That’s what Liz and Corey wanted, and that’s what they got. Hot pinks, corals, fuschias – and in amazing seasonal spring flowers to boot. All photos of this bright and beautiful wedding are by West on Jade. Location: Valley View Farm, Haydenville, MA. Flowers are by me, of course, and feature locally grown tulips, American-grown peonies, and other bright-bright springtime flowers! I like this close-up of Liz’s bouquet because it features some nice fat tulips, front and center. I…

Sunshine-y fall flowers at a light-filled Valley View Wedding
I am not exaggerating when I say that 99% of the pictures of Colleen and Matt at their lovely fall wedding are of her laughing or smiling, and him looking at her like he’s just won the lottery. Look – I appreciate all the images that I’m sent of the weddings I flower. I think: “how sweet,” “how adorable,” “how beautiful.” But for this one I honestly teared up. I mean – to be as happy as Colleen looks and to be as adoring as Matt – this is the dream, right? All photos of this gorgeous wedding are by Kelly F. Peterson Photography. The location, of course, is Valley…

Orchard themed wedding at the historic Fruitlands Museum
Fruitlands is a gorgeous historical orchard in Harvard, MA, and was the site of an intentional community created by Louisa May Alcott’s father and their friends in the mid 19th century. It has walking trails, gardens, lots of information and artifacts about Transcendentalism, and it’s also the site of many a wedding, including Elizabeth and Herbert’s very colorful affair this past August! I LOVE the photos from this wedding. One reason is because Elizabeth and Herbert wanted COLOR for their flowers, and I love color. When we first talked they didn’t give me a color scheme, exactly, but a list of colors they liked, which I loosely translated into “the…
