Fun + Feathers = A Bespoke Summer Wedding at Quonquont Farm

The photos that include Hilary and Ross’s flowers, courtesy of Lex and Jake, show a gorgeous couple enjoying an amazing, thoughtful, curated day, courtesy of Quonquont Farm in Whately, surrounded by family and friends…

…but the real story of this wedding (or at least the last half of it) was the bride’s Instagram feed, which showed an amazing PARTY that lasted all night long. When you get a text from the bride at 5 a.m. the next day thanking you for your amazing work you know a good time was had by all!

Hilary wanted a very specific look for her bouquet, and I was happy to go for it! I got to use Oncidium orchids, which I’d never used before, and created an asymmetrical look that complimented the dahlias I grew, along with peach and pink roses.

Hilary wanted a very specific look for her bridal bouquet involving orchids, which aren’t something I work with very often. I love how the yellows of these Oncidium orchids complemented the variety of me-grown dahlias I included in her bouquet.
They got married in front of my circular arch, decorated with more dahlias, roses, and feathers!

More feathers – supplied by a local farmer – made their way into the centerpieces.

We greened up Quonquont’s gorgeous chandeliers with Eleagnus vine.

Quonquont’s coordinators moved the arch decoration to the sweetheart table to create an over-the-top (in a good way!), draping installation.

I have a feeling that the party is never going to be over for these two!
