A love story in dahlias: white, blush and burgandy flowers at a Boylston Rooms wedding
Words I would use to describe J and O’s wedding flowers at the Boylston Rooms a few falls ago are these: classic, classy, timeless, and perfect!
The color scheme was quintessential fall, but on the minimal side: white, blush, and burgandy, with a touch of drama – and dahlias, of course. Always dahlias!

Both J & O’s bouquets included the aforementioned dahlias (white, blush, and burgandy!) but also heirloom chrysanthemums, perennial phlox, eryngium, plus eucalyptus and agonis for foliage.

The Boylston Rooms is so pretty no matter which way people go with the decor. It’s light and bright and neutral – a blank slate! J & O chose to have 2 symmetrical floral and foliage installations on their arch.

This is one of my favorite vases for centerpieces: the Rosie Posie vase. It makes the perfect low but lush single centerpiece that looks great on round guest tables. The design can be contained or it can be wild, and it’s also not an expensive container. I’d much rather you spend your floral budget on actual flowers vs. containers!

So sweet! J + O are listening to E give a speech (E will feature in an upcoming post about their wedding!) In front of them is a sweetheart table arrangement – this design is my favorite for sweetheart tables. It’s not too big, not too small, and most importantly, lets everyone see the couple.

The sweetest! Congratulations to the happy couple! The wedding was gorgeous, but now for the best part: your marriage!
