Flower Stand
Our self-serve flower shed is located at the farm: 198 Sylvester Rd., Florence MA. It is open dawn – dusk, from mid April through mid December, weather permitting, of course!
The shed is halfway up our driveway on the right-hand side. It’s entirely self- service: you pick what you like and pay using cash, checks, Venmo, and all major credit cards. We’re on the honor system here and we find that the vast majority of people are very honest!
Selections vary, but we almost always have mason jars of flowers, bunches of flowers, succulents, and houseplants. We also often have other offerings like wreaths, planters, annual plants, dahlia tubers, and gift sets.
A little history: our flower stand started as a roadside cart in 2017 and in 2023 graduated to be a shed. The cart was really sweet and was a nice landmark but it didn’t have wind or sun protection, so the flowers got hammered, and we found that its location so close to the road proved to be tempting for folks who wanted to steal. Stealing flowers, can you imagine?
Anyway, in 2023 we introduced our shed and it’s been going gangbusters ever since. We hope to offer more and more as our farm grows and we’re always experimenting with what works well in the shed considering there’s no heat or air conditioning and it’s open to the various critters who live in our New England woods. The flower stand is really one of our favorite ways to connect to the community, so please come visit if you’re out our way!
