Intimate woods wedding at the foot of Mount Sugarloaf

Kim and Tim were one of my first consults for 2018 and they were so cute together! They knew me from the Easthampton Farmers’ Market, and locally grown flowers were a priority for them. They got married smack-dab in the middle of dahlia season, so what I grow was a great fit for what they wanted!

Location: Sunderland Town Pavilion, Sunderland MA, early September

Kim’s bouquet was super seasonal! Burgandy and pink dahlias (Black Satin, Arabian Knights, and Jowie Winnie), scabiosa, hydrangea, and celosia spicata.
Kim and Tim set up the birch arch for me to decorate. Creating this installation was fun because the band brought a puppy, who was very curious about my buckets of flowers and foliage.
I like to make my wrist corsages so they look like flower jewelry. Nothing too over-the-top. Chic. Something I might wear myself!
The bridesmaid’s bouquet complimented the bride’s.

The flower girl had the perfect up-do for the flower crown I made.
The ceremony and the reception were intimate and personal, but now for the best part – a happy marriage!
